City Pets Vet

I had such a positive experience at City Pets Vet today with my dog, Yuzu. She gets very anxious at vet visits, and I was incredibly grateful for the patience, kindness, and care the entire staff showed her. They took their time, paid attention to what she needed, and did everything they could to help her feel safe and comfortable throughout the visit. It means so much to have a veterinary team that recognizes when an animal is scared and responds with compassion rather than rushing them. Thank you, City Pets Vet, for taking such wonderful care of Yuzu—and for making a stressful experience so much easier for both of us. ❤️

City Pets would not tell me when, or even give an idea of how much it would cost for my cat to be spayed. I had to do an office visit first. Then they would magically have access to their calendar and would be able to give me an idea of how much spaying my cat would cost. I understand not knowing exactly how much the procedure would cost, but when I asked for a range, they told me that they could not provide that. I am sure I am not the only one bothered by vets negatively incentivizing us to make a significant time and financial investment before they will even start the journey to providing the service that we are interested in. By that time, we are too far in, and they know we will accept whatever price they throw at us for the service and tack on as many other fees that they can. From reading other reviews, what do you know, they charge way too much to spay cats. Just be direct, and be honest. It will be an up hill battle trying to find a vet with these traits, but it is worth a shot! UPDATE: I found a vet that was able to tell me the price immediately. They are called East Padden Animal Hospital. They were the first other call I made, so I am sure there are many others.

Staff are professional and friendly! They are patient and caring with my cats. Been going here for years.

City Pets is so great! They really care about our pets. They also try to work out solutions that are beneficial and affordable.

8/11/26 Went to the Vet for monthly Cytopoint injection for our Cocker Spaniel August. I highly recommend this treatment for dogs with itchy skin. Since getting this injection monthly, August has been itch free. $99 per injection buy, better quality of life!
