I fostered a 13-year-old English Cream Golden Retriever who was a sweet as she was stubborn. Cinder was treated like the princess she thought she was. All the staff, with the exception of the new Practice Manager, treated Cinder with compassion, patience, and humor. Dr. Velasco took the time to explain Chinese medicine and supported our decisions. All vets, tech and staff listened and heard what I was saying. They did not mind when I sent in a list of problems, and questions and addressed each one with professionalism. One tech actually followed Cinder around the room while trying to do a laser treatment. I can't begin to tell everyone how much I appreciate the care she was given in her last days. If all vet clinics were as good as Bethany, all animals would have a much better life. Thank you to everyone who supported Cinder and me.

I have been taking my dog to this clinic for the past nine years, and until now I've been happy with the care we've received. About two months ago, I requested a refill of my dog's prescription, but it was denied without any explanation. Four days ago, I submitted another refill request and didn't receive any response. It wasn't until I reached out again this morning that I was told the prescription would not be refilled until after his annual exam. The frustrating part is that his annual exam is only four days away. Had the refill been approved when I first requested it two months ago, or had someone communicated the issue sooner, he would not be missing any doses of his preventative medication. Instead, he is now going without his preventative medication while waiting just a few days for an appointment that was already scheduled. I understand that clinics have policies regarding annual exams, but denying a refill request without explanation and then not responding to a second request has unnecessarily interrupted my dog's preventative care. After nine years as a client, this experience has been very disappointing.
